The 18th of August we have “Holland in a nutshell”, price for this day is 100 euro including dinner.

There will be a IBC winner show judged by three judges on August 19th and a Sighthound Show in conjunction with the Conference at the same location on August 20th!
The first-ever IBC (International Borzoi Council) Winner Show is hosted by the Netherlands Borzoi Club on August 19, 2023. Also, there is a Sighthound Show on the 20th of august. Nearly 100 years ago, in 1926, the first Winnershow in Amsterdam took place. On this show the Borzoi were judged by three Russian counts, judges and breeders of Borzoi; namely, Artem Boldareff, Boris Cheremeteff and Dimitri Cheremeteff. More than 80 Borzoi were entered then! Referring to this unique event the Dutch Borzoi Club will be hosting an OPEN show on the SATURDAY!! The venue for all shows will be PAPENDAL (near Arnhem). Also for this show we have three different persons who are going to judge your borzoi: Mrs. KAY SNEATH from Marakhoff borzois from Australia, Mrs. ELI GUNNENG from Stravi borzois from Norway, and Mrs. IRINA TERRA (born in St. Petersburg) from Zabava borzois from USA. This means that your borzoi on that day will be judged THREE times. The judges/breeders will NOT be writing a critique but will be giving points to a maximum of 100. Also, they will have the opportunity to make a couple of remarks on the certificate if they wish. The following titles can be won: IBC-Baby-winner, IBC-Puppy-winner, IBC-Junior-winner, IBC-Senior winner, IBC-Veteran-winner and finally the IBC-Winner. All for both sexes! During the Sighthound Show on August 20th, the males will be judged by borzoi breeder-judge Jane Maddox-Bishop (Korsakov Borzoi USA) and females by sighthound specialist Beatrix Maerki-Casanova (Switzerland).
